The MRRA can teach you to row!

Our two popular Learn to Scull and Learn To Sweep programs start in June, are affordable, and introducte you to the sport of rowing. No prior experience is required, but good fitness is expected.

Learn to Row in the "big boats" (fours and eights) in a team-oriented environment, visit our Learn to Sweep web page for more information. If the smaller boats (singles and doubles) are more your style, visit the Learn to Scull page for details. Not sure which you might prefer? Come visit with us on Saturday June 6th at 9:00am for our USRowing National Learn To Row Day event. We'll have our boats and members out in force to let you see firsthand what the sport is all about.

Spread the word! Visit us at www.lowell-community-rowing.org. Stay tuned to this page for upcoming information about our 2022 programs.

MRRA Membership

To row with the MRRA, you must be a member of the Club. The only exception to this rule is for certain community access programs such as the popular Learn-To-Row programs which affords the general public opportunities to learn the basics of sculling and sweep rowing without a commitment to an MRRA membership. Prior rowing experience is expected for all programs below, except where noted. If you are looking to learn how to row, please visit the Learn To Scull and Learn To Row Sweep web pages to learn about programs designed for those without any prior rowing experience.

Student Memberships: Restrictions apply: Must be full-time student, age 18 - 24.  Rowing season is restricted to June 1 through August 31;  Student Members may not row Class A boats; Hours for sculling are restricted to after 9am any day.
