- Launch times will be announced at the
boathouse as follows:

| Example: Your race
starts at 8:00am and is 1K. First call will be
at 7:15a, last call at 7:45a. All launching
subject to Dockmaster permission and after passing a
safety check for heel ties, bow number, etc.
First call is very generous on the early side; use
your own judgment based on weather to launch within
the guidelines above.
PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE RAMPS UNTIL
REQUESTED BY TRAFFIC GUYS AT THE GATE. The
mid-section of the dock requires launching and
returning boats to pass each other; when done properly
it's a veritable ballet. When no one listens to
the Traffic Guys, it's very ugly. Traffic Guys
are easily recognized by their bullhorns and itchy
trigger fingers. |
